MiniGauge App
Change any setting, design your Custom screen, pull drive logs and update the pod over Bluetooth. Latest firmware is built in.
Download for Android
Android
Install the app
The app installs straight from this page, not from the Play Store, so Android asks you to allow it once.
- On your phone, tap Download for Android above and open the file when it finishes.
- If asked, allow your browser to Install unknown apps, then go back and tap Install.
- If Play Protect shows a warning, tap More details → Install anyway. It appears because the app isn't on the Play Store.
- On the pod, open Settings › Connect Phone, then tap Connect in the app. It finds the pod over Bluetooth on its own, with no pairing needed.
- When you're done, tap Done on the pod so it goes back to reading your car.
Updating the pod: in the app, open Settings → Firmware update → Install. Keep the phone close; it takes about a minute.
iPhone
Set up over Wi-Fi
iPhones can't use the Bluetooth app, so setup runs in the browser instead. Nothing to download.
- On the pod, open Settings › Connect Phone › Use WiFi browser. It restarts once and shows a Wi-Fi name and web address.
- Join the Wi-Fi network MINIGAUGE, password 12345678.
- The page usually opens by itself. If not, open Safari and go to http://192.168.4.1 (type http, not https).
- Change what you like and tap Save, then tap Done on the pod.
Good to know: while the phone is connected the pod isn't reading your car. Tap Done before you drive.

Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Everything the app does is also available from the pod's Wi-Fi page in Safari, including every setting and the Custom screen designer. See Set up over Wi-Fi.
Do I need to update my pod?
No. Every MiniGauge ships with current firmware. Updates add features and fixes, so it's worth checking now and then: the app tells you when a newer version is available and installs it for you.
"App not installed" on Android
Remove any older copy of the MiniGauge app first, then install again. Also check there's at least 100 MB of free space on the phone.
The app can't find my pod
Open Settings › Connect Phone on the pod before tapping Connect in the app, and make sure Bluetooth and Location are on for your phone. The pod won't appear in your phone's Bluetooth menu, and that's normal.
